  1. @Kathy And I photoshopped it too...what can I say, I'm a photoshopaholic. :D

  2. @Joy: this is the first haiku I have written with a purpose. It saddens me to see someone so full of hate it spills onto others. A waste.

    @doojy: thanks sissy xoxo

  3. I'd say I hate hate, but it doesn't sound right - being a word I was never allowed to say growing up. Hate saddens me.

  4. Hate is such a waste of ones own energy, nice haiku Cath

  5. @Thom Brown I can say I have never hated anyone Thom. There are some people I avoid because of the negativity they exude. I prefer positive thoughts and deeds.

  6. @Vix agreed middle sister. A total waste of energy better spent doing something else. xoxo

  7. @MuMuGB it can be Muriel, but sadly, some people are addicted to their illness and choose not to find a way out. Which means they miss a lot.

  8. Outstanding Haiku and message. When you have enough, collect them into a book.

    Unfortunately, hate is to love what black is to white. The world is made up of dark and light. All we can do is try to channel our thoughts, actions and energy towards positive or good things.

  9. Very nice, Cath. I like the layers in the image, from the outside looking further into the scene.

  10. @Penelope J. Thanks Pennie. I am beginning to feel you are my muse, poking me in the ribs and saying "do it, do it" and I appreciate your feedback.

  11. @sweepyjean I layered it on purpose Adriene. It is a photo of a drawing of a photo, with editing and a frame added. About 5 layers deep. But not as deep as the person's anger and hatred that it's about.

    Thanks for the feedback.

  12. This makes so much sense to me, Cath! It's why it's so important to fill our minds with positivity instead! Loved this piece of art!

  13. @Samantha Bangayan Glad you liked it Samantha. I learned years ago that negative emotion just wears me down and takes all the color out of my life. So I choose to be positive. As much as possible anyway. :D
