{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A moment in time I want to capture, to savor and remember.
“This Moment” is a ritual I found on Pamanner's Blog, via Life inspired by the Wee Man adopted from SouleMama. Check out their blogs, and if you are moved too, please leave a link to your Moment in the comment box below.
I've taken my favorite moment, combined with haiku, for a little something different today. Hope you enjoy it.
Have a safe, memorable, Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteI must remind you Cath of the year we pulled over the Christmas tree with our admiration of it up close, lol, momma loves to tell that one! Love this haiku!
ReplyDeleteAs always your photos are something else. . . they still scream "Coffee table book" to me! And the haiku- lovely.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas
Hello.
ReplyDeleteKids are so inquisitive at that age.
Lovely Haiku/photo/moment.
Thanks for sharing.
Perfect. Haiku and photo, both. Happy holidays to you and your brood! Best, Karen
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful photo! Would love to see the face and see the eyes sparkle! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I've been pondering and yearning for that exploratory spirit of being a child and love that wonder combined with the spirit of Christmas. The photo blends them perfectly. =) Hope you had a very merry Christmas, Cath!
ReplyDeletethanks for all the wonderful comments...the toddler is my youngest grandson, 18 months old now and inquisitive about everything. Not many minutes after I took this photo, he pulled the tree over on us both...then startled when I screamed, shoved it back upright. He's a mighty little fortress, my John. :D
